ANNUAL REPORT
ELDER CARE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
Our services are designed to provide basic essential services as part of our
"Age In Place" program rather than having to enter institutional care.
HEALTHY SENIOR MEALS &
HEARTY SOUPS
Home Delivered Meals are prepared and delivered on Wednesday each Week. Special attention is made to freshness, increase in proteins, veggies and fruits while low salt, sugar and fat to seniors with chronic conditions, particularly diabetes and hypertension.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Social Activities are held twice a month using virtual technology. Grants have been obtained to purchase devices and provide training to assist seniors to participate. Currently we have 51 seniors that are able to participate. The program is a step in addressing the health effects of senior isolationism. Once, the effects of COVID-19 have been resolved, in-person congregate meals and activities will resume.

NUTRITION EDUCATION & VEGGIE PROGRAM
Nutrition Education is part of the programs to assist seniors to Age In Place. Part of program is to make sure that seniors have healthy food with lots of fresh fruit and vegetable.
Recent addition of fresh packaged produce delivered to our kitchen by Palm Beach Harvest from local grocers, have created a Senior Fresh Food Pantry opportunity for more of our mobile seniors.
For those seniors needing delivered pantry items, the Boynton Angel's in Action, maintain a remote Angel Food Pantry. Angel volunteers call seniors and families to take their requests, fill their grocery bags, then deliver directly to them bi-weekly.
